Seefeldpark adventure pool Sarnen

In spring 2011, Seefeldpark Sarnen was opened with a new five-star campsite, the swimming pool and a restaurant. The new overall operation replaces the Lido facilities on the shores of Lake Sarnen, which were destroyed by massive flooding in 2005. In the project competition for the redesign of the camping site and the lido, the "Imago" project by the architectural partnership Joos & Mathys Architekten/Seiler Architekten won. An adventure pool, a swimming pool and a sun deck are the centrepieces of the new outdoor pool facility.
The two-storey building houses the outdoor pool, restaurant and parts of the campsite infrastructure. Swimmers in the 25-metre pool on the upper deck have an unobstructed view of the landscape, and the sunbathing lawn is planned as part of the park. On the lakeshore, bathers have access to a water slide, a raft, a wooden footbridge leading into deeper water and a diving tower.
